A Nursing Resume Should Reflect Your Qualifications As Well As Your Personal Skills

Every employer is looking for a specific set of skills and expertise of job-seekers who match the skills needed to perform a specific task. In principle, a CV contain your full name, the campus and the permanent address, phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Apart from a nursing RESUME must contain the following information:


A clear border career and employment objective in which your sense of direction to the employer.

Your CV should be the names of each of your employers and your corresponding job titles.

Enter a short description about the employer as what they are doing, if they are not known.

The number of staff that you manage (if applicable)

Please include your education, training and licensing as well as academic awards, scholarships and extracurricular activities.

As a specialised professional nurse, prove what kind of person you are and give as much details as possible of your skills and experience.

Please include your interactions with other departments, the external agencies and the health professionals.

Highlight your tasks and responsibilities as a nurse, including planning, assessment and evaluation of the patient care, holding, the type of work or ward and routine tasks performed etc..

A narrative statement of your value such as: experienced with an extensive background as paediatric, Oncology, long-term care and ICU/THERE, knowledge of Medicare home health and JCAHO standards/reimbursement claims, nurse with 10 year track record providing quality, patient centered care in the home, hospital, nursing home, hospice and private Office settings etc.

Mark all other successes that have benefited to your Department and, of course, your organisation in General.
